BEST POEM IN THE WORLD

BEST POEM IN THE WORLD

I was shocked, confused, bewildered
As I entered Heaven's door,
Not by the beauty of it all,
Nor the lights or its decor.

But it was the folks in Heaven
Who made me sputter and gasp--
The thieves, the liars, the sinners,
The alcoholics and the trash.

There stood the kid from seventh grade
Who swiped my lunch money twice.
Next to him was my old neighbor
Who never said anything nice.

Herb, who I always thought
Was rotting away in hell,
Was sitting pretty on cloud nine,
Looking incredibly well.

I nudged Jesus, 'What's the deal?
I would love to hear Your take.
How'd all these sinners get up here?
God must've made a mistake.
And why is everyone so quiet,
So somber - give me a clue.'

'Hush, child,' He said, 'they're all in shock.
No one thought they'd be seeing you.'

JUDGE NOT!!!

Remember...Just going to church doesn't make you a Christian any more
than standing in your garage makes you a car.

Every saint has a PAST...
Every sinner has a FUTURE!!!

Life Is Too Short!

Is Heaven for Real?

...I go to prepare a place for you.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
John 14:2-3

That poem can give alot of people false hope.Im sure those people repented from their sins when they recieved Jesus as their savior. If it is makes you feel safe then it is wonderful.

Too often many people feel that they are beyond the Power OF The Life Saving Blood Of Christ. I too "was" one of those individuals. There is no false hope when it comes to God's Power to Heal & Change lives for our Good our Salvation. Examples The "Thief on The Cross", "The Woman At The Well" Mary The Prostitute" Me & even you.

I am reminded of John 3:16 "God So Loved The World, That He Gave His Only Son, That Whoever Believes in Him Shall Not Perish but Have Eternal Life.

Thanks very much for your feed back.

Glenn, you have definitely said a word there. If I could count the number of people I see or hear or talk to who are hurting deeply, I couldn't count them all and all think it is the end in most cases. But as the songwriter sings, "It's Not Over UNTIL GOD Says Its Over!!"
